Paddocks - Where Nature and Teamwork Transform Lives
Located in Widnes, Cygnet Paddocks is a specialist neuropsychiatric service supporting men affected by acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions. Working here means leaving a sterile hospital environment behind and stepping into a uniquely therapeutic space. Surrounded by beautiful nature – including horses and our interactive “chicken therapy” – this setting benefits both our patients’ cognitive recovery and our team’s mental wellbeing.
Rehabilitation here is a fully integrated effort. From our specialist doctors, psychologists, and physiotherapists, right through to our award-winning domestic staff like Tracy – who, while not providing direct medical care, is a deeply valued part of the rehabilitation family. We manage challenging behaviours and complex presentations together, ensuring person-centred care remains at the heart of every patient’s journey toward independence.
